LN Sep 1976 - Oct 1978

The disputed existence of the Citroen LN, in fact a rebadged Peugeot 104ZS, started life in 1976. After the take over by Peugeot in 1974, the LN was the first 'fruit' of the cooperation. Unique is the fitting of the 602 two-cylinder engine of the Dyane and Ami.

LNA Oct 1978 - 1986

Fitted with a new engine with electronic ignition. The principal differences are that its capacity has been increased to 652cc and that it now has an electronic ignition system, controlled by a computer. In 1982 it underwent a restyle: other head and rear lights, new badge, plastic bumpers.

LNA 10 (R)E and 11 (R)E July 1982 - 1986

Different from the two cylinder models by the plastic bumpers and restyled head and rear lights. This model uses the 1.0 and 1.1 four-cylinder water-cooled engine, mounted transversely. Trim differs: the 11RE is more luxuous with rear window washer.

Special gold/beige (Sable Doré) model was the LNA Cannelle, of which 2000 were sold in France, Austria (called Elysée), Switserland, Germany, England (called Inca), Italy (Pepita) and the Netherlands. Based on the 11E, but with light alloy wheels, two-parts separated rear seat, radio equipment, special beige/brown Scottish check interior.
